Lori Roth, J86
Lori Roth is a Senior Managing Director at Ashley Capital, one of the largest privately held real estate investment firms in the United States. Lori joined the company in 1995 and is responsible for coordinating all the financing for Ashley’s acquisition and development projects in the industrial and office sectors. The portfolio stands at over twenty-seven million square feet and financings have aggregated several billion dollars. Before joining Ashley Capital, Lori was a banker with The Industrial Bank of Japan and National Westminster Bank, PLC.
Lori holds a BA in International Relations and Economics from Tufts University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. At Tufts, Lori currently serves as a Director on the Executive Committee of the Tufts Alumni Council and has chaired a variety of committees since being elected to the Council in 2009. Lori is a Founding Member of the Tufts NYC Professional Women’s Networking Group, was a TAAP Interviewer, has served on all her Reunion Committees and was a panelist at the Tufts Real Estate Forum. She has served on the Host Committees for the Tufts Talks events in New York and the Tufts Lead-It Summits in Medford. At Northwestern, Lori is on the Kellogg Alumni Council and the Kellogg Admissions Leadership Council. Lori also served on the Parents’ Committee at Duke University.
Lori was a former President and continues to serve on the Board of Directors of a NYC co-operative, is a College Mentor and Benefit Committee Member with the East Harlem Tutorial Program and is an active fundraiser for Peer Health Exchange, an organization that empowers high school students with the knowledge and resources to make healthy decisions. In her spare time, Lori enjoys running, having completed eleven marathons and many other races, playing tennis, and biking and hiking near and far.
Lori lives in New York City with her husband, David Schnadig. They have two children, Jennifer and Matthew. She was elected to the Tufts University Board of Trustees on November 2, 2019.
