Shauna Ryder Diggs

Shauna Ryder Diggs, MD, is the secretary and chair emeritus of the Association of Governing Boards. She has served on the AGB board since 2016. She is the immediate past board chair of AGB and regent emerita of the University of Michigan. An established physician and board-certified dermatologist, she is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons. Diggs is the board chair of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation, serves on the boards of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Detroit Opera, and was a past board member of Blue Care Network, the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Detroit Zoological Society, and Forgotten Harvest—a nonprofit member of the Feeding America Network.
