David is a Partner at Wellington Management where he serves as Portfolio Manager on long-only and long/short commodity approaches. In this capacity, he collaborates with the firm’s investment resources, including natural resource-focused global industry analysts and macroeconomists, to analyze the fundamental drivers of commodity markets. David is also the sponsor to the Wellington Young Professionals business network and a founding member of Wellington’s Upstanders Group. The Upstanders is a grassroots effort composed of over 300 Partners and Managing Directors, who are engaging in sponsorship, mentorship, and other activities aimed at improving diversity and inclusion at the firm. Outside of Wellington, David serves on the Board of Boston Scores and the Tufts University Arts & Sciences Board of Advisors. David graduated from Tufts University in 2001 with a BA in Quantitative Economics, magna cum laude and speaks French, Italian, Mandarin, and Spanish. He is married to his Tufts classmate, Nicole, and they have three children, Cosette, Eloise and Tristan.
