Dr. Elizabeth Blecharczyk is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health. She works as a Neonatal Hospitalist in the Department of Neonatal & Developmental Medicine.  Elizabeth received her BA with honors from Wellesley College, where she majored in Religion and minored in Chemistry. She attended Tufts University School of Medicine, graduating in 2009. She completed her pediatric residency and then a chief residency at Stanford University.

Dr. Blecharczyk joined the Tufts University School of Medicine Board of Advisors in 2015 and has served as its chair since 2022. She also serves on two independent school boards, one in San Francisco and one in the Boston area.

Elizabeth and her husband are signatories to The Giving Pledge —a commitment to give the majority of their wealth to philanthropic causes. Her philanthropic work centers around maternal/neonatal health and education. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and two children, but given her deep roots in Boston, she still spends a significant amount of time in New England. In 2023, she and her family embarked on a world tour, traveling through 23 countries in nine months, gaining a deeper understanding of how people live across the globe.
