Kristy Endo, A05
Kristy is a co-founder of South Bay Partners LLC (formerly Box Holdings LLC), a South San Francisco-based private fund manager she launched with her husband in 2017. From 2009 to 2017, she and her husband managed Box Holdings Limited, a Hong Kong-based holding company focused on niche investments in Japanese equities. She started her investment career as an investment associate at Putnam Investments’ Asia-Pacific Equities group, where she specialized in Retail, Auto, and IT stocks. She worked in Putnam’s Tokyo and Singapore offices from 2005 to 2009. A Gemological Institute of America graduate, she also maintains a custom jewelry design business for Hong Kong clients. Kristy is a founding member and former treasurer of Hands On Tokyo, a nonprofit organization dedicated to working with welfare facilities, special needs organizations, and other NPO’s to plan and provide volunteer opportunities in both English and Japanese that meet the needs of the community.
Kristy attended the American School in Japan and graduated from the Hong Kong International School. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Music and International Relations from Tufts in 2005.
At Tufts, Kristy is a member of the International Board of Advisors and chair of the Tufts Admissions Network (Japan). She also serves as a leader for Tufts Alumni Japan, a term member of the Tufts Alumni Council, and a member of the Women’s Impact Initiative. She previously served as a Tufts Alumni Council Mentor, a member of the Tufts Alumni Council International Committee, a member of Tufts Alumni Hong Kong and Singapore, and was a Class Gift Officer for her 15th Reunion. In these capacities, she has helped organize several events in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Japan, including receptions for newly admitted students and alumni, a Beelzebubs performance, a Tuftonia’s Day function, and numerous talks by Tufts professors.
