Meena Thever, J00
Meena Thever is a Partner and Head of Capital Formation at ACON Investments, a $7bn middle market private equity firm focused on the Consumer, Industrials and Business Services sectors. She is responsible for leading all capital formation and strategic initiatives related to the ACON fund series as well as all direct investments.
Previously, Meena was a Partner at Bridge Investment Group, a $48bn real estate private equity firm. Prior to Bridge, Meena was a Director at BlackRock where she was a member of the BlackRock Alternative Specialists and previous to BlackRock, she was an Executive Director at JPMorgan.
Meena began her career in investment banking in the Financial Sponsor Group at JPMorgan and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She was also a private equity investor in the Credit Suisse Customized Fund Investment Group where she created investment portfolios for institutional investors.
She was recognized by Crain’s New York as a 2021 Notable Woman on Wall Street.
Meena earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics, magna cum laude, from Tufts University, Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School where she was a Kennedy Fellow, and Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School. Meena is a Fulbright Scholar and published author of the book ‘Health Care for All: Is Canada’s System a Model for America?’
She is a member of the Board of Directors of Danbury Hospital, an acute care hospital within the Nuvance Health System. She serves on the Harvard Kennedy School Dean’s Council as well as the Harvard Kennedy School Women’s Leadership Board.
