Vivek Shah is CEO of Ziff Davis, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZD), a digital media and internet company whose portfolio includes leading brands in technology, entertainment, shopping, health, cybersecurity, and martech.

Vivek led the acquisition of Ziff Davis when it was a private company and its subsequent sale to publicly traded J2 Global which was later renamed Ziff Davis. The company has 4,700 employees worldwide and operates brands including Mashable, IGN, PCMag, Speedtest, RetailMeNot, Everyday Health, BabyCenter, Moz, and Vipre, among others.

Previously, Vivek held various management positions at Time Inc., including Group President, Digital, overseeing Time Inc.’s news, business, and sports properties, including Time.com, Life.com, CNNMoney.com, SI.com, and Golf.com. He also served as president of Time Inc.’s Fortune/Money Group, which included the magazines Fortune, Money, and Fortune Small Business and the website CNNMoney.com.

Currently, Vivek serves on the Board of Directors of StreetSquash, a youth enrichment program, and on the Board of Directors of the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism CUNY Foundation. Vivek is also a member of the President’s Council at Tufts University. Vivek has been named Online Publisher of the Year by MIN; Innovator of the Year by BtoB’s Media Business; and inducted into MIN’s Digital Hall of Fame. Vivek was also named to Crain’s Forty under 40 list. He holds a B.A. in political science from Tufts University.
