Jon Pruzan spent over 28 years at Morgan Stanley (1994-2023) most recently as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President (2021-2023). As COO, he was responsible for Technology, Operations and Firm Resilience; the U.S. Banks; Finance and Corporate Services. Pruzan was a member of the Firm’s Operating, Management and Risk Committees and the Morgan Stanley/MUFG Global Steering Committee. Previously he served as Chief Financial Officer from 2015 to 2021 as well as Head of Corporate Strategy from 2016 to 2021. Prior to becoming CFO, Pruzan spent 21 years in the Global Financial Institutions Group in Investment Banking running the group from 2010 to 2015. Pruzan started his career at Paine Webber in the Financial Institutions Group from 1990 to 1994.

Pruzan graduated from Tufts University in 1990 with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics. While a student at Tufts, Pruzan participated in the Experimental College and was a member of Alpha Epsilon Pi.

Pruzan serves on the Board of Trustees of Tufts University, the New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and the Peterson Institute for International Economics. He is a Trustee Emeritus and past Board Chair of Summer Search NY, an educational non-profit.

Pruzan resides in New York City with his wife, Lisa, and has three children.
