Ankur A. Sahu is a private investor. He recently retired as a Partner of Goldman Sachs where he had a 20 plus year career. He was the Co-head of Private Equity, Asia Pacific, for Goldman Sachs from 2011-2018. He was a member of the Global Investment Committee, Risk Committee and Asia Pacific Management Committee. He worked in the San Francisco, Tokyo and Mumbai offices and was named a Managing Director in 2005 and Partner in 2006.

At Goldman, in addition to managing the overall investing business across Asia Pacific, Mr. Sahu was responsible for building the private equity businesses in Japan and India. He led several landmark investments and served on many corporate boards in Asia, including USJ, Sanyo, Renew Power, Japan Renewable Energy, eAccess/eMobile and Noveltech Feeds. In addition to these corporate boards, he also serves on the board of Dasra, a leading strategic philanthropy organization. He is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization.

He also serves on the Tufts International and School of Engineering Boards of Advisors, Tufts University Campaign Executive Committee, and Tufts Financial Network.

Mr. Sahu earned a BS in Electrical Engineering, summa cum laude, from Tufts University in 1991 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1996.
